Why we chose it
We chose this Half Moon because a small change in outline gives it a whole different character. The asymmetrical case makes the watch feel playful, while the gold-tone bracelet turns that shape into something you can wear as jewellery. We like how little it needs to do to stand out. The silhouette is the point.

The design
The case gives a familiar wristwatch an unfamiliar edge. At this scale, the curve feels like a gesture rather than a grand statement. The bracelet continues the gold tone around the wrist, so the shape reads as part of one object instead of a watch head attached to a band. That is why it fits Luminant Studio. The interest is carried by the relationship between shape, material and proportion. We would keep the rest of the styling simple and let those choices speak.
A little context
Seiko was exploring the space between watches and jewellery well before this 1990s example. Its Rivoli line, introduced in 1986, used asymmetry as a defining feature. We see a related willingness to play with form here, without identifying this reference as a confirmed Rivoli model.
