Why we chose it
We chose this Calèche because the dial feels like a piece of graphic design. The carriage emblem has a space of its own, with the time displayed below it. That split gives the watch an unusual rhythm: first an image, then a function. It is the sort of detail that makes us stop, look again and want to understand the object.

The design
The long rectangular case gives the two windows a clear frame. Gold tones around black create a strong outline, while the smaller time display keeps the face from feeling crowded. We like how the emblem becomes part of the arrangement, rather than simply a signature printed above the hands. The black leather strap continues that contrast and leaves the case in focus. It is a confident design built from a small number of elements, each with a job to do.
